The Art of Eye Contact

Eye contact can hit you like a bullet.

It is difficult to describe with words what I felt during this trip to Papua New Guinea. Although, if I had to sum it up, I should say openess, authenticity, welcomeness, eyewitness and mind-blowing would be words to describe Papua New Guinea.

I had heard lot of good and bad things about Papua New Guinea so I decided to prove them by myself and embark on that trip. As I mentioned in the album "Where diversity is celebrated" I joined the team of Visit Papua New Guinea with my personal friend and colleague Sofia Prado, who help me document this amazing experience.

Visiting a primary school, chatted with teachers and kids, eating with a local community, attended a tribal festival and then witnessed how they live, there are some of the things I have done during this trip.

However, what it really catched my attention was the eye contact with them.
I realized that eyes are engagingly beautiful, not only because their color but because the words they hold within them.
